Manuela Montoya Marín. (Biologist)
Manuela is a biologist graduated from the Santa Rosa de Cabal University Corporation (UNISARC), Risaralda, Colombia. It belongs to the Research Group in Conservation Biology and Biotechnology (GIBCBT) of said University. He has focused part of his research career on the evaluation of the genetic variability and the population structure of the páramo toad Osornophryne percrassa , guiding his main findings in the genetics of the conservation of this and other Neotropical species. Additionally, he is interested in the study of the phylogeography and phylogenetics of mammals and anurans, focused mainly on conservation. It works with environmental compensation using camera traps to reveal the species that inhabit an area and prioritize their conservation. He is currently collaborating with the Colombian Tapir Conservation initiative (CTC), formulating research projects focused on the conservation of the tapir species that inhabit Colombia.
Gabriel Ferrucho. (Environmental Engineering Intern)
Gabriel is an environmental engineer in training from the Sergio Arboleda University, Bogotá, Colombia. His career has focused on the application of models on air and water pollution and the investigation of the latter. However, he is drawn to the study of animals, the functioning of the biosphere and those projects to protect currently threatened species. He is currently collaborating with the Colombian Tapir Conservation initiative (CTC) collecting data on research and collection.
Ana María Rincón M. (Engineer Esp. EIA)
