Help us report the hunting, trafficking or illegal possession of tapirs and the deforestation of their natural habitats to the environmental authorities of Colombia

The tapir faces different threats such as: fragmentation and loss of its habitat, hunting, competition with introduced species, among other anthropic activities that represent a challenge for its conservation. For this reason, the collaboration of citizens is very important to help conserve the species.

If you know of any type of activity that harms the Tapir or its habitat, you can make the respective complaint through this initiative for the Conservation of Tapirs in Colombia by filling out the following form. You can also make a complaint through the website of the Regional Environmental Autonomous Corporation where the violation was evidenced or through the website of the National Police.
